# What are Workflows?

Workflows allow you to automate repetitive tasks in Keeping, like automatically assigning a ticket or applying a tag.

A Workflow consists of rules you can apply to a mailbox (or multiple mailboxes) to automatically manage the assignment, priority, tags, or status of conversations. Use workflows to streamline processes and automate repetitive tasks.
